Everyday I get asked how are sales in the market with a Pandemic going on ... & as you can tell from this sales chart for 2017, 2018, 2019 and now in the Pandemic of 2020, sales and consistency has never been a "thing" in Sicamous Real Estate... as you can tell by looking at this chart of past years and sales, we have no idea and neither do you what each year & month will be like out here.
Days on market is all over the map each year and every month & then the numbers of sales high then low, there has never been real consistency in months or years in all the years I have sold here...we can listen to the market and the feedback & if you get showings and no offers, that tells a story. After 24 years of selling hundreds of homes I know houses don't sell themselves that is why I have a proven plan to market and sell every listing I take.
One thing I know in 24 years licensed as a REALTOR® if you do not have your house listed, you probably have ZERO chance of selling...
My clients sold in a pandemic & took possession on their new place yesterday in #Sicamous in a pandemic... yes business has changed for now but the need to buy and sell houses is still here, not in masses of course like a typical spring in the #Shuswap...the question I get asked the most is should we sell now ?!
That is a personal choice; there is no right or wrong answer, there are risks involved when people come to view your home if it is occupied, if it is vacant that is much easier, we have protocols & disclosures for precautions in place to screen potential buyers and agents who visit homes during these darker times, trust that no buyers out looking or realtors who are out "working" if their clients did not need to buy, in the last month since BC went into a state of emergency, the lawyers or notaries, the lenders and banks, the inspectors and real estate agents, the insurance agents & moving companies are all still doing what they can to make real estate transactions &...
